Meet Ziah Bonanno
Ziah is currently working through a carpentry apprenticeship with Lansell Homes. He came to us with a natural talent for craftmanship.
“During my school years, I always enjoyed the hands-on classes, Woodwork especially, which is why I jumped at the chance to do an apprenticeship,” says Ziah.
So far Ziah has impressed the team with his strong work ethic.
“He is going really well,” reports our Construction Manager, John Lucas. “I see a lot of potential in Ziah. Not only does he have an aptitude for the work, but he is good to talk to and always willing to listen and learn”.
Ziah is enjoying working with the Lansell crew. “They are really friendly and not afraid to give you tips and help you learn the trade the proper way,” he says.
He also commented that he likes how the jobs are managed. “You are allocated to the same project until the stage is complete, so you get to see the full process in detail. It leaves you feeling a greater sense of responsibility for the quality of the job.”
