What Financial Help Is Out There?

You may be eligible for the First Home Owner Grant and a range of other concessions, exemptions, and reductions.

First home owner grant

If you are building your first home, you may be eligible for the First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) of $10,000 and or a range of exemptions, concessions and reductions.

A 5% deposit gets you started

If you have a 5% deposit, the Homebuyer Fund shared equity scheme could contribute up to 25% of your new home price.

No Stamp duty

If you are eligible for the FHOG, you should also be eligible for the first home buyer duty reduction. This means no stamp duty on your home if it is under $600,000.
