Behind the scenes with a property manager
Our Ascot Retreat Estate is making excellent progress, with five out of eight homes already sold. Two homes have been completed and are occupied, and an additional four are currently under construction, expected to be finalised in the next few months.
These homes are quite a surprise to all who inspect. Everyone has been impressed at the large open plan living space, substantial storage, and the generous outdoor pergola area.
With one home having been sold to an investor, we met with property manager, Janelle Stevens. Janelle is a distinguished rental agent who received the Customer Focus Category award at the 2023 Bendigo Business Excellence Awards. She has become one of our preferred agents for rentals due to her exceptional dedication to meeting the unique needs of renters and investors.
Although Janelle had initially provided a rental appraisal, it was her first time inspecting the completed home. She was impressed by the spacious and well-lit living area and general size and layout of the home. The WIR and ample amount of storage space was also a giant plus.
Then again, Janelle is no stranger to Lansell Homes properties and loves our quality homes with lots of storage and low maintenance landscaping, making our homes the perfect rental.
While the photographer captured images and took measurements for the floor plan, we discussed the state of the current Bendigo rental market. Janelle highlighted the high number of applicants she receives for each rental, emphasising the importance of finding the right fit and quality tenant.
We’re delighted to report that this property was occupied within 10 days of Janelle’s initial inspection.
