Bendigo Apprentice of the Year Awards 2021
A cause for celebration! Two Lansell Homes apprentices, Zach Humphrey and Ziah Bonanno, were recognised for their skill and commitment to carpentry at the 2021 Master Builders Association Victoria (MBAV) Apprentice of the Year awards ceremony earlier this month.
Both Zach and Ziah have distinguished themselves with their ongoing drive to constantly learn and apply new skills, the quality of their school work at Bendigo TAFE, and their desire to become great carpenters. Receiving a Certificate of Merit at this ceremony is an excellent way for the industry to acknowledge these two young men and their contribution to Building and Construction.
John Lucas, Site Manager at Lansell Homes, said, “We’re all very proud of these two young men, as we are of all of our apprentices. It’s great to see them developing the skills that will set them up for success in the industry for years to come. Being recognised by their industry is a tremendous personal achievement for them, and Lansell is excited to be a part of their journey”.
Jeff Smith, Lansell CEO, affirmed that “Our apprentices are important to us and the future of the building industry.” Adding that “We pride ourselves on teaching them a wide range of skills, and the importance of building up to a level of quality.”
“Training and continuous professional development are vital to us here at Lansell Homes,” continued Jeff. “We encourage and support our staff to learn and develop new skills that add value to them as individuals and complement Lansell Homes.”
