The Somerset (mod) At Myrtle Grove Estate Ascot

Set in leafy bushland surrounds in a peaceful pocket of Ascot.

This Myrtle Grove home was one of those builds that made an impression from the moment you stepped inside.

Based on the popular Somerset Mod design, the home had a bright, open feel with plenty of natural light flowing through the main living area. Large windows helped make the open plan kitchen, dining and living space feel warm, welcoming and easy to imagine living in.

The kitchen was a real highlight, with a large double-bowl sink, a gooseneck tap, and a full wall of storage. Instead of the walk-in pantry often seen in earlier Somerset homes, this design featured three double-door cupboards set along the kitchen wall, creating a practical, streamlined storage solution without taking up space in the main living area.

The master suite also had plenty of wow factor, featuring a generous walk-in robe with built-in shelving and drawers. It gave the room a more finished, considered feel and added the kind of everyday storage buyers often look for.

Additional storage was included throughout the home, with a double linen closet in the main hallway and a broom closet in the laundry. These simple inclusions helped make the home feel practical as well as beautiful.

As all Lansell Homes builds, Myrtle Grove was finished with a focus on easy, low-maintenance living. From the thoughtful floor plan to the turn-key inclusions, it was designed to feel complete, comfortable and ready to enjoy from day one.

While Myrtle Grove was not a permanent display home, it was opened for inspection and gave buyers a great opportunity to experience the quality, layout and inclusions of a Lansell Homes build in person.
