Plan in focus: The Oxford (modified)
Welcome to the Oxford.
They say a kitchen is the heart of the home so we’ll start our tour of this floor plan in the bright, open meals and living space.
The client for this build modified the kitchen from the original plan. They converted the u-shaped bench into an island with a full-length window. They also opted for a few additional cupboards and a 900mm cooktop with canopy rangehood upgrade.
Brimming with natural light, this space at the back of the home takes full advantage of the private backyard with a large bank of windows overlooking the patio. We imagine this room will be the central hub for every member of the family to come together!
The client also personalised their Master Ensuite, choosing to upgrade to include an additional basin. A double sink is a popular option for busy couples. With each person having their own space, no one has to fight over bathroom time.
While a standard round sink may have a classic look, a rectangular sink has a more modern feel. The client upgraded to rectangular basins as they better complement both the ensuite and main bathroom’s stylish design.
This client opted to have the light grey concrete look floor tile flow throughout not only the wet areas, but also the high traffic areas of the home.
The Oxford features a separate lounge at the front of the home (as pictured below). This space is carpeted, as are the bedrooms.
The natural timber look front door adds some undeniable street appeal and gives a glimpse of the interior style.
This home is a great example of how you can personalise your home to suit your style!
