One of our recently sold homes at Huntly is now entering the final stages of construction, with completion and handover drawing closer.
During a recent site visit, the future homeowner was onsite with a friend measuring rooms and planning furniture placement, a clear sign the excitement of moving in is starting to feel very real. Moments like these are always rewarding to witness, as a house begins transitioning into someone’s future home.
Recent progress has included carpet installation and other finishing works throughout the property. These final stages make a dramatic difference to the overall feel of the home, with spaces quickly transforming from an active construction site into warm, functional living areas.
As this was a spec home, many of the interior selections had already been carefully chosen by our design team before the home was purchased. Interestingly, the homeowner mentioned she had the opportunity to make changes to the colour selections, but loved the palette and finishes already selected and decided to keep them as they were. One personal change she did make was updating the façade colour, giving the exterior a look that better suited her style.
It’s always interesting seeing how buyers connect with different homes and design choices. In this case, the balance between professionally selected finishes and a few personal touches helped create a home that immediately felt right for its new owner.
Externally, the home is also taking shape beautifully, with the façade and surrounding works helping complete the street presence as the build nears completion.
Huntly continues to grow steadily, with more homes progressing through construction and more families preparing to move into the community in the months ahead.
