Looking Back at 2025

A Year of Building More Than Homes

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year that was about more than bricks and mortar. From supporting future builders and strengthening our team, to celebrating community, charity, and the homes our clients love, this year reminded us why we do what we do.

Here are some of the moments that defined 2025 at Lansell Homes.

Supporting the Next Generation of Builders

In 2025, we were proud to support programs that inspire and guide the next generation. Our team joined Bendigo Tech School’s Entrepreneurial Edge program, sharing insights into the building industry with a room full of curious and enthusiastic students. Programs like this play an important role in encouraging young people to explore careers in construction and business, and we loved being part of those early conversations.

We also enjoyed working with Passions & Pathways, supporting their amazing initiatives and contributing to opportunities that help young people discover their passions. Being involved in these programs reminds us that building strong futures goes beyond homes—it’s about fostering skills, confidence, and inspiration in the builders of tomorrow.

One of Our Most Popular Plans, The Hadley

Some home designs just work, and in 2025, The Hadley proved to be one of our most popular plans.

With four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas and a double garage, this design continues to appeal to families looking for space, functionality, and modern living. Seeing The Hadley take shape in Highland Vines Estate in Huntly and as a House and Land Package at Sanctuary Gardens in Maiden Gully was a highlight of the year.

Welcoming New Talent to the Team

This year gave us the chance to welcome new faces into the Lansell Homes family.

Rylee joined us for his work placement and quickly showed a natural aptitude for the building industry. His enthusiasm and willingness to learn made him a pleasure to have on-site. We were quick to offer him a full apprenticeship.

We also celebrated International Women’s Day by introducing Ash and Abby, our talented painter duo. Their skill, professionalism, and attention to detail make a real difference on every build, and we’re proud to have them on our team.

Supporting Our People and Our Community

In 2025, supporting wellbeing, connection, and community remained a priority at Lansell Homes, both within our team and across the wider industry.

Several team members completed Mental Health First Aid training through MiTraining, building skills to recognise and support mental health challenges in the workplace and beyond. This training reflects our commitment to creating a supportive, respectful environment where people feel valued and looked after.

Beyond our own team, we were proud to stay actively involved in the building industry and local community. Jeff and Tash represented Lansell Homes at the HIA Building Women’s Lunch, an inspiring event that raised over $10,000 for the Victorian Homeless Fund, supporting vulnerable women and children to find safe, stable housing. They also attended the HIA Central Victoria Members Forum, contributing to important conversations around collaboration, industry challenges, and the future of housing in our region.

At a grassroots level, giving back remained just as important. Our lead carpenter Adam participated in Walk for a Bloke, supporting physical activity, mateship, and open conversations around men’s mental health. Seeing the community come together around causes like this was a powerful reminder that strong communities are built on care, connection, and support.

Bringing Homes to Life, On Site and Online

From strong on-site progress at Belgrove Mews to the delivery of new homes and estates, 2025 was a year of exciting milestones for Lansell Homes.

We saw continued momentum across key locations, including the growth of Highland Vines in Huntly and Golden Heights in Golden Square, with new homes taking shape and neighbourhoods coming to life. These developments reflect our commitment to building well-designed homes in locations that support long-term lifestyle and community.

A Bit of Fun Along the Way

Not everything has to be serious, and our Action Figure series brought plenty of smiles throughout the year.

Featuring members of the Lansell Homes team, the series was a light hearted way to celebrate the people behind the builds. From calm problem solvers to quietly legendary operators, each action figure highlighted the skills, personalities, and character that make our team what it is. A little fun, a lot of pride, and a great reminder that great homes are built by great people.

Supporting Downsizers Through Every Step

In 2025, we completed our downsizer blog series, created to support families as parents move into a new, more manageable home.

The series covered each stage of the downsizing journey, from early planning and design considerations through to creating a comfortable, welcoming space that truly feels like home. It was designed to offer practical guidance, reassurance, and clarity during what can be a big life transition.

Completing this series reinforced our commitment to building homes that suit every stage of life, not just today, but for years to come.
